Floor Flatness & Grinding

Floor flatness is crucial to your VNA system for truck performance, our flatness and grinding solutions ensure that your day to day operations runs smoothly and safely. Most warehouse floors will not have VNA “super flat” standards achieved. Not just existing builds but also new builds struggle to achieve optimum performance. This
is what were here for!

 VNA Transverse Flatness Survey

This is to check the discrepancy between your left and right wheel track to a standard dependant on the height of your racking or the specification of your truck.

Steel / Control / Expansion Joint Grinding

Due to the length of many aisles a full run down any VNA and you can expect to travel across one – three floor joints (these are not saw cuts). Often these slabs are not completely flush to one another, left unattended this can cause great damage to your floor/forklift truck.

Transverse Spot Grinding

This is to improve your trucks static lean i.e. any discrepancy in your left or right wheel tracks can cause you truck to lean at extended mast heights. Left unattended this can cause difficulty with product storage or great damage to your forklift truck or racking through impact strikes.

Camber Grinding

Mainly a problem for wire guided trucks but not exclusive to. Discrepancies in one or all three of the wheel tracks can cause the truck to drift/push either left or right from the main central path causing you to lose contact with your wire guidance system.
