All VNA are either rail or wire guided. Wire guided is where the truck follows a designated wire path to which it must adhere to tight parameters where if the truck should drift from the designated wire path it would cease operation, moreover any damage to said wire path or line driver (RF signal generator) will again cease operations.
Wire Guidance RFID / Magnets
An RFID install is an in-floor transponder system working with your forklift truck to work either as a simple start/stop system up-to a more technical fully self automated navigation system.
A magnet install is the installation of magnets into the floor to slow down the truck as it reaches the end of an aisle or to bring the truck to a complete stop should the end of the aisle be a wall or obstruction.
Wire Guidance Investigation / Repair
Where there is an obvious break in the wire guidance system.
Frequent or infrequent problems with forklift trucks / line driver. For example, signal drop out, signal loss, whole loop black out.
Wire Guidance Annual Health Check
We recommend that any pre-existing wire guidance system should have an annual health check, we will check the condition of the entire wire path checking for any degradation, floor movement, wire exposure, we will perform signal strength tests and keep a record for future visits, we will check the general condition of the line driver itself. Upon completion of this check we will inform you of any issues found within your floor which could hinder your operations.
